About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual (currently working at Junior Buyer level or higher) to join our fast-paced Commercial Department. This multifaceted role offers a mix of contract management, supplier liaison, and buying responsibilities, playing a vital part in our expanding team.
The successful candidate will oversee the lifecycle of all private label & packaging contracts and proactively identify+flag potential risks. The role also includes placing purchase orders to support business needs.
Building and maintaining supplier relationships is an important part of the role, helping to ensure smooth communication and address any issues that may arise. There will also be opportunities to contribute to new product development initiatives, adding variety to the role.
While primarily based in the office, occasional international travel may be required to meet suppliers or attend trade shows.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of all private label contracts and packaging agreements.
· Account Management: Maintain communication with suppliers to address any issues or queries, ensuring smooth operations and effective resolution of concerns.
· Purchasing & Stock Control: Place purchase orders, monitor stock levels to meet business requirements, and proactively identify and flag potential supply risks.
· Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as setting up new product lines, managing stock, answering office calls, and providing general support to the team.

· Have strong analytical and numerical skills.
· Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
· Have a Grade B or above in Maths and English GCSE.
· Have a degree in any subject or equivalent.
